Abel Automotive Supply was established in 1922 by Walter Abel.  It was originally a machine shop that machined engines for the trucking industry. Abel was purchased in 1984 and was renamed Abel Truck Parts to better reflect the industry it served.  Abel is a distributor of parts to the heavy duty truck and off-road equipment industry in Northeast Ohio.
